The Mercy Foundation’s core activity is awarding Grants to End Homelessness and Social Justice Grants to assist communities and organisations to bring about greater social justice in Australia.

The Mercy Youth Award an annual art prize competition that encourages students to learn more about social justice issues in Australia, and how they can help bring about change.

The focus of the Cath Leary Award is on individuals, groups or organisations that have made a major contribution to addressing key social justice issues in Australia.

The McQuoin Award is presented at the Mercy Foundation’s Board’s discretion to individuals or organisations that have made an extraordinary contribution to social justice in Australia.

The Cath Leary Social Justice Award and the McQuoin Award are conferred at the discretion of the Mercy Foundation Board. Nominations are not generally accepted for these two awards.
